Enterprise platforms
Secure licensing with authentication, authorization, product tiers and machine activation.
Open to software engineering roles
Software engineer building secure enterprise tools, and making sure everyone can use them.
Currently at Babbage B.V. in Roosendaal, working on licensing, workflow automation, management reporting and NVDA screen-reader add-ons. Graduated cum laude.
I like software that feels solid: clear structure, practical value and thoughtful details. Whether it is enterprise tooling, accessibility work or internal platforms, I enjoy turning complexity into something people can actually use.
Internal platforms that companies run on, from who may use the software to how the business is steered, with accessibility built in rather than bolted on.

SyncDesk brings multiple web views and data panels into a single, customizable workspace for everyday business workflows.
Dashboards and reports on hours, projects and sales that management uses to steer the business.
NVDA add-ons in Python and runtime JavaScript fixes that make inaccessible web apps usable.
Flagship project
A secure, enterprise-ready licensing platform. It controls who can use which product, supports different product editions, and guides end users through activating licensed software on their own machines.
A modular desktop application I developed at Babbage to bring different web views and data panels together in one synchronized workspace. It supports customizable layouts, keyboard shortcuts, pop-out windows and saved configurations to simplify daily workflows.
Reports and dashboards that bring hours, project status, sales and other internal figures together, giving management the information it needs to steer the company.
Custom NVDA screen-reader add-ons in Python for enterprise environments, adding features that business applications lack, with a clear and intuitive interface for the end user.
Runtime JavaScript remediation for inaccessible web apps: ARIA roles, states and live regions injected into the DOM, plus focus management and keyboard navigation in line with WCAG 2.2.
Independent experiments and learning projects, from desktop applications to mobile and web development.
Item catalogue with admin tools, e-mailed one-time passwords, forced reset and login lockout.

Engineer by training, problem-solver by nature.
I’m Michel, a software engineer from Roosendaal who enjoys puzzling over a problem until it gives in.
Before software I worked in care, social work and retail. That taught me to listen to the people who use what I build, to give and take feedback well, and to stay calm when things break. All of it turns out to be useful in engineering.
Today I work where enterprise software and accessibility meet: I build the platforms a company runs on, and I make sure people who use a screen reader are not left out.
